Errand Girl of Sonora

Handling all of your errands so YOU have more time for YOU and your family

How did Errand Girl come to life?

In 2007 I had a 2 year old son and a 10 year old daughter.

Most of my friends were working full-time.  They would call me and ask me to pick up their dry cleaning or buy one of my freezer dinners.  One evening when I was over at a friends house for dinner...she said that I should open a business as a professional wife for the women that needed help.  We all laughed about it over dinner but when my husband and I got home...we knew we had to do this!
Well, we started looking at names......and do NOT look up Wife for Rent....its porn!  So, we finally settled on Errand Girl!  And I was in business!
I got my business license and almost immediately I was super busy!  Those that knew me knew that I always had meals in my freezer because I LOVE to cook!  I would deliver a frozen home-cooked meal with a bagged salad and a loaf of bread.  I also did grocery shopping, went down the hill to CostCo and Trader Joes.  Oh, I loved it and so did my clients!
But in 2012, life got complicated with an autism diagnosis for my son and a retiring husband.  I needed an escape!  I went to work for a friend of mine in the property management field.  But the condition was that I close my business.  So I did.  I was able to hide from retirement and autism.
In early 2017, it became evident that I needed to return home for my son but also I had been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia.  I left my position thinking well.....I would just be a full-time Mom again.  And if you know me....that would NOT work!
So, on September 7, 2017 I decided to reopen Errand Girl!  And I am so glad I did!
I thought I would have to really work hard to rebuild my company but it was all right there!  As soon as word got around clients came flooding back!
So, not only do I have Errand Girl but I also have another website -
Tammys Artsy Fartsy is where I sell my jewelry, soaps and handmade cards.  Take a will love what I do!
